Day 1: First Post

First of all, let me start by saying I have absolutely no idea how or what i'm doing here writing this post. I've never blogged before (outside of school projects) and i've certainly never expected anyone to read what I write (unless it is also in school).  I'm going in bind with very limited information or experience in cooking and but a simple mission: get people like me to stop using the microwave and make food from scratch, no matter how simple or difficult it might seem. Simple and to the point. Well, here goes, welcome to Golden Springs Cooking reader! Hope you learn a thing or two from someone with about as much experience cooking as a plumber might have towards multi-variable calculus. At least math doesn't burn your fingers..
